The eSports King's Crush

Chapter 267 - Theyre Not Eating

Chapter 267: They’re Not Eating

A second later, the assistant was stunned. His eyes were wide open, as though he had seen a ghost.

Feng Nai nonchalantly took out two bowls, filled them with rice, and placed them on the dining table.

“Young, young master?”

Feng Nai coolly shot a glance at him. “What?”

“Nothing… I was just wondering why you would do this…” The assistant recalled that his hands were insured.?Does Mo Nan know that? Besides, you’ve never done anything like that before. You don’t care about these things either. Have you forgotten your own words? You said that, other than fighting, your hands were only used to sign contracts and play eSports. Doing anything else would be a waste of time.

Feng Nai raised a brow before answering indifferently, “It’s just scooping rice.” He’d even done the dishes yesterday. This was nothing. However, Feng Nai wasn’t planning on vocalizing such things.

The assistant was shocked by his attitude.

He knew his Young Master the best.

His hands didn’t do chores. Most importantly, he was too lazy to do so.

Now, he was naturally doing it…

Why did it seem that ever since meeting Mo Nan, his Young Master had essentially done everything he wouldn’t have done in the past? He’d even agreed to sleep in the same bed with Mo Nan.

The assistant’s inner feelings were becoming difficult to describe.

Instead, it was Wang Dongdong who poked him after seeing two bowls of rice on the table. “Ask Almighty K, why did he only scoop two bowls?”

Feng Nai heard this question. With a hand propping up his chin, he looked in Wang Dongdong’s direction. A vague smile was at the corner of his lips, as though he was saying, “Do you really have no idea why I scooped two bowls?”

Wang Dongdong instantly believed that Brother Nan was more normal.

Almighty K was really one person in front of Brother Nan and another person behind him. Were these the double standards of the double-dealer?

This was the scene that greeted Mo Bei when she walked over with a dish.

Almighty K was wickedly holding his turned head. His nose bridge was tall, and there was a glint in his eyes as they landed on Wang Dongdong’s face. He looked just like an aristocratic prince from the olden times.

Meanwhile, Wang Dongdong… looked like a little mouse terrified of a cat attacking it from all angles and invisibly trembling.

Mo Bei walked over and placed the Big Chicken Tray down as she told Feng Nai in a neutral voice, “Captain, don’t bully my assistant.”

“Bully him?” Feng Nai retracted his gaze. “Not interested.”

Wang Dongdong heaved a sigh of relief. The pressure earlier had been huge.

However, once Brother Nan came out, things were instantly different.

Almighty K’s eyes were essentially attracted by the dishes on the dining table.

Sanhuang chicken, potatoes, green peppers, and carrots were all placed on a huge tray.

The chicken was golden-brown with slightly crispy edges and the potatoes were soft. In combination with the carrots and green peppers, the food was spicy and savory and contained attractive colors. A thick sauce with a rich fragrance drenched it on top along with chopped scallions.

To reduce the grease, there was also a transparent glass pot beside the dish that contained peppermint-lime water.

From this angle, one could even tell that there were Thailand green limes in it.

Beside the pot were two side dishes with a very refreshing taste: lotus root slices in ginger sauce and cold cucumber salad.

No wonder Almighty K couldn’t even bother to glance at him.

He had eaten Brother Nan’s food before.

Wang Dongdong wanted to salivate at the sight! Thus, he didn’t care if Almighty K had bullied him or not.

Mo Bei looked down, her voice quiet as she said, “Why are there only two bowls?”

Feng Nai maintained his posture. “They’re not eating.”

The assistant and Wang Dongdong were left speechless.
