The Heir is Here: Quiet Down, School Prince!

Chapter 814 - Nothing Feels as Good as Sleeping With You (1)

An Xiaxia practically had question marks popping out of her head. However, Sheng Yize wouldn’t tell her what he was up to no matter how she pressed him. He only held her hand and led her into the school.

It was the weekend and the school was empty except for two security guards at the entrance.

Sheng Yize produced a permit and security let them in right away. The elder guard even recognized Sheng Yize. “Why, it’s you. Long time no see!”

“You still remember me?” Sheng Yize was a little surprised.

“Of course I do. You were a star back then, weren’t you? My granddaughter adored you!” The security guard hummed one of Sheng Yize’s songs and asked with a smile, “Revisiting an old haunt and reliving the teenage years, are we?”

Sheng Yize smiled, squeezing An Xiaxia’s hand a little tighter. “Just showing my first love around.”

“Why, congratulations!” The security guard immediately spotted An Xiaxia’s plump belly and the smile on his face broadened.

Sheng Yize handed them some gift money in two red envelopes and the security guards took them happily. They then opened the doors for the couple.

An Xiaxia was surprised. “Wow, you came prepared!”

“Yup,” Sheng Yize said in his tsundere tone.

Following the familiar path, they arrived at their old classroom.

The door was locked and An Xiaxia’s face puckered up. “We can’t get in.”

“Keep watch for me. Do you see anyone around?” Sheng Yize gave a command.

An Xiaxia looked around on tiptoe, then turned to Sheng Yize and asked expectantly, “Do you know how to pick locks?”

Aww! Idols like him truly could do anything!

To her surprise, Sheng Yize went to the small garden nearby and came back with a brick.

An Xiaxia said dumbly, “... Are you going to smash the lock?”

“How else will we get in?” Sheng Yize found her question strange.

After a few bangs, Sheng Yize broke the lock by sheer force.

The classroom looked almost the same as seven years ago. Sheng Yize led An Xiaxia to their old seats.

They sat down at the desks. The warm sunlight poured in and it felt like they had traveled back in time to seven years ago.

An Xiaxia offered Sheng Yize a hand. “Hello, Sheng Yize, I’m An Xiaxia. Nice to meet you.”

Sheng Yize smiled and took her hand. “An Xiaxia, I’m Sheng Yize. I hope we’ll get along well for the rest of our lives.”

Everything felt peaceful, quiet, and as pleasant as the old days.

Under the desk, their fingers twined together.

An Xiaxia recalled back when they had secretly held hands under the desk like this. Sheng Yize’s palm had been sweating and she had asked dumbly, “Are you hot? Why is your palm so sweaty?”

Sheng Yize had snapped at her in exasperation, “Mind your own business, dummy!”

Come to think of it, back then... it was proof that some guy had been shy, although he would never have admitted it.

Sheng Yize remembered something as well. He cleared his throat and felt around under the desk, then raised an eyebrow. “Why, it’s still there.”

“What is?”

Sheng Yize led her hand to a mark carved on the side of the desk.

Tracing the mark, An Xiaxia realized that it was a heart.

Her eyes were wide open and An Xiaxia asked in disbelief, “You carved a heart between our seats?”

“Yes.”

An Xiaxia blinked. “Does that mean that you’ve liked me since a long time ago?”

Sheng Yize’s face went dark. “What kind of question is that? Didn’t you like me back then?”

“I’m sure you liked me first!” An Xiaxia smiled sweetly. She then blushed at the handsome face closing in.

“So?” Sheng Yize smiled.
