Everybody is Kung Fu Fighting, While I Started a Farm

Chapter 264: Two Dog Li

Chapter 264: Two Dog Li

The Dragoncroc Emperor was dead!

If not for that, the Hua Nation would not have dared to go out in force and slaughter all those Feral Kings.

The Sky Demon Cult’s Saint just had a feeling.

But feelings were feelings, and he still found it hard to accept from the bottom of his heart.

Who could have killed the Dragoncroc Emperor?

With its cultivation, the Dragoncroc Emperor could hardly be killed unless it was overwhelmed by superior power. In fact, it was unlikely even if every Void-tier elite of the Hua Nation were to go after the beast.

Moreover, it could flee even if it could not win.

And once under water, the Dragoncroc Emperor was even harder to kill, not to mention that the ancient daemon cultivator had its back.

“Send word to every believer near Lingzhou City and Xibei to continue their infiltration, and that they are not to move on their own without my orders,” the Sky Demon Cult’s Saint growled as he took to the air, turned into black mist, and vanished.

Even so, his voice continued ringing upon the ears of the kneeling cardinal. “We’ll hold off on the plan to ambush Lingzhou City for now. I’m personally visiting Shennongjia!”

The black mist advanced in the night, moving more than three times the speed of sound and soon covering thousands of miles to arrive at the shores of the lake in Shennongjia.

As he stood beside the lake, the Sky Demon Cult’s Saint released his spirit, extending it into the lake and searched, but did not find any trace of the Dragoncroc Emperor at all.

After a closer look, he noticed several huge craters on the shores, which formed from the bursts of strength as Jiang He and the Dragoncroc Emperor clashed. The plant life and even the mountain boulders nearby were all a mess as well, crushed by the shockwaves generated in the fight.

Moreover, countless aquatic lifeforms in the lake were floating in the surface, killed when they caught in the crossfire.

Even as the Sky Demon Cult’s Saint carefully reached out his senses, his eyes lit up beneath the robes as he growled, “Sword will... a terrible sword will lingers in this place. The one who had killed the Dragoncroc Emperor must be a specialist in sword wielding!”

“And he had slayed the Dragoncroc Emperor all my himself!”

Charging a secret technique, black mist arose around the Sky Demon Cult’s Saint, capturing the sword will and Daemonic Qi in the air.

His figure suddenly shook as he exclaimed in astonishment, “A Yuan Spirit eminence had fought too?”

Just then, the Sky Demon Cult’s Saint forgot to conceal his voice due to her inward shock.

It was a woman’s voice!

He...or more correctly, she.

Yan Dehao had mentioned before that no one knew the gender of Sky Demon Cult’s Saint, but she now appeared to be a woman.

“No, it’s not really a Yuan Spirit eminence but a Yuan Spirit clone... it must be the ancient daemon cultivator supporting the Dragoncroc Emperor!”

Gasp!

The Sky Demon Cult’s Saint could not help inhaling sharply at the thought before crying out involuntarily, “That ancient daemon cultivator could not save the Dragoncroc Emperor even though it interfered. Could a human elite have awakened from their slumber?”

She took to the air and flew towards the distance, even as she thought, ‘If every slumbering human elite did awaken, it would be very difficult even if my kin were to attempt descent upon earth!’

She flew toward Miaojiang in a single breath and entered a grand mountain.

The mountain appeared plain, but was actually laden with arrays. The Sky Demon Cult’s Saint held up a token plate and infused her aura, and the array shifted aside.

Behind the arrays were a completely different world.

There was a huge canyon surrounded by mountains, amidst which toxic miasma swirled.

On two ends of the wall were curiously-shaped stones seemingly sculpted masterfully.

There were many buildings, courtyards, and pavilions within the canyon, with roads and paths tiled with limestone, giving it the air of a small ancient town resembling Shangri-la.

As the Sky Demon Cult’s Saint walked upon the air, any believer looking at her would drop to a kowtow, crying out “Your Holiness.”

Meanwhile, she traversed through the many buildings and arrived upon a huge temple, and opened the entrance into the Secret Realm within.

There was a lake inside.

Though not exactly wide, its waters glimmered with an unusual grayness and was churning with bubbles as if it were boiling, although it was exuding an intimidating chill even though the waters should be burning.

The Sky Demon Cult’s Saint leapt into the lake, barring the water from reaching her with Demonic Qi as she descended to the bottom.

A gigantic snake lay at the depths.

It was a colossal 300 meters in length, and it resembled a krait in appearance with its alternating bands of black and silver scales, whereas its head was a flat triangular form.

“Master...”

The gigantic spoke human tongue then—it was a Feral Emperor.

Moreover, Daemonic Qi rolled upon its body. It had clearly cultivated a powerful secret daemonic technique and did not lose out to the Dragoncroc Emperor in terms of aura.

The Sky Demon Cult’s Saint gave the snake a look just then. “I’m opening the shrink to contact the realm beyond.”

In response, the gigantic snake opened its mouth and spat an ice-cold Daemonic Qi at the bottom of the lake, causing it to rumble as a stone shrine materialized. The Sky Demon Cult’s Saint landed on top of the shrine and cut her skin before dripping a drop of blood upon it, causing it to erupt in scarlet radiance that enshrouds her.

At the same time, on a withered planet beyond earth’s atmosphere, an armored Sky Demon champion turned towards the shrine beside him as he opened his eyes. The long-dormant stone shrine was glowing faintly in bloody radiance, and his godly consciousness emanated to mingle with the bloody radiance.

The champion frowned then and answered in sky demonese, “Preparations are not in place. The Stargate would be unstable if opened ahead of time, greatly limiting the forces that could enter...”

Even so, the champion did not delay in relaying the message to the sky demons’ hierarchs.

Four hours later, there was a reply.

The armored sky demon champion activated the shrine again to send it back to Earth.

At the bottom of the lake, the Sky Demon Cult’s Saint stepped down from the shrine.

The giant snake swam and placed its head beneath her feet.

It straightened to send her above the lake before opening its jaw to bellow.

The Sky Demon Cult’s Saint stroke the creature’s flat head and laughed. “I know, you’re getting impatient from waiting beneath such a tiny lake, but no worries—in half a month, you shall come with me as we slaughter our way into Lingzhou City, offering the hundred thousand souls within as blood sacrifice to receive the legions of our kind!”

“When the time comes, you shall kill and devour your fill.”

Delighted, the snake thrashed wildly in the lake and splash waves, laughing in human tongue, “Master, I’m getting impatient...”

The Sky Demon Cult’s Saint laughed and left the Secret Realm, returning to the temple.

She summoned the only survivors of the Sky Demon Cult—Elders Seventh to Nine, as well as the four Holy Children, and said, “Send word to every believer across the group: all must return in three days.”

“I will release the treasure vault to aid you in improving your abilities. The Holy Lake would also be open for you to aid your ascension to divine-tier.”

“Thank you, Your Holiness!”

Delighted, the three elders and the four holy children knelt in gratitude.

Jiang He returned home at five in the evening on the twenty-fourth of October.

He was feeling relaxed at the peace and quiet in Jinyintan Village...He had been strolling around the streets from yesterday afternoon to the next morning. The only interesting part was when Jiang He had encountered a cliché plot.

He had run into some rich kid in Jingdu City showing off his reaches in his face, so Jiang He bought the entire supermarket to avoid the conflict from escalating...

What confused Jiang He most was what Sora, a maid, would buy so many clothes for?

And there were all sorts of styles...could she be changing into a different set every night?

Tut, tut.

He was getting riled up at the very thought.

Even so, Jiang He was feeling melancholic and helpless too.

‘The Nine Heavenly Stars Body Formula is so unserious,’ he complained.

Surely he can’t plant an entire harm, can he?

As he put his farm back in his farmyard, Dumbo, Trumbo, the Seven Bottle Gourd Brothers, and the two golden eaglets all dashed out like donkeys freed from their shackles and started fooling around.

They were almost losing their minds from confinement over the last few days.

While Sora went to prepare dinner, Jiang He idled and was about to plant another wave of Doom Shrooms when a car honk sounded outside.

“Old Jiang!”

Li Fei, whom he hadn’t seen for some time stepped in through the front gates, smiling, “Old Jiang, Chief Duan had me send you some rice seeds...where should I put them?”

“Jiang He.” Another voice called out then.

Wang Siyu had come with Li Fei.
