When Sheyan heard Lieutenant Kyrgyzna’s reply, his hand that was holding a cup of coffee suddenly froze.

For some reason, after hearing the name of the Lost Temple, Sheyan’s heart was suddenly filled with a grave and solemn feeling, like he was walking through a war memorial or heroes’ graves in the real world.

“The Lost...Temple? Is there an ancient tomb there or something?” Sheyan could not help asking.

Lieutenant Kyrgyzna hesitated, then clicked a few times on the computer before she answered, “Not as far as we know.”

At that moment, an SCV came over. Its operator told Sheyan in a gruff voice, “Our fuel supply has fallen to red-alert levels, sir. We must decide the flight path now.”

Sheyan nodded. “Our destination is the Lost Temple, coordinates: 5DC9, 2A07”

“YES, SIR!” The SCV operator answered in his loud, gruff voice. After giving a cursory military salute, he went back to his work.

It was worth mentioning that during the flight, they managed to rescue three engineering SCVs by tracing the radio waves their emergency pods emitted. These engineering SCVs were different from the maintenance SCVs on the Wraith. Their computers contained precious blueprints of the human command centre and information on all military operation buildings.

As long as there were enough minerals and time, in theory, an engineering SCV could build a huge empire by itself!

The Wraith’s limited fuel supply kept burning away, and the blue flames emitted from the exhausts went out one by one. In the end, it could only glide through space using two active engines – the most economical configuration. Because of that, the flight which should have taken only three hours took them four and a half hours.

Eventually, a pale grey planet slowly appeared ahead of them.

The entire Wraith was squeaking when it entered the planet’s atmosphere. Sparks were shooting out of various parts of the ship. It truly seemed like it would completely fall apart at any moment.

Fortunately, under the combined effort of the maintenance SCVs on the Wraith to repair the ship non-stop, and with the help of the three engineering SCVs, they managed to survive the process. The Wraith flew down from the sky while spewing black smoke and shaking violently. Needless to say, it was a rough landing.

A navy blue land extended into the distance as far as the eyes could see. All throughout this solemn land, blue plants would grow, intertwining together. They looked like bean sprouts that had been enlarged a thousand times.

The sky was grey, and the clouds hung strangely in the sky like condensed grey dewdrops. Mammatus clouds like these could normally only be seen on Earth in places with extreme weather like Siberia, but they seemed to be the norm here. Modest amount of natural light shined down on the land through the gaps between the clouds. There was wind in the air, albeit not very strong.

The red light on the air analyser beeped continuously. The result of the air composition analysis was: 11% oxygen, 28% nitrogen, 35% argon, and differing amounts of sulfur dioxide, ozone, methane, plant seeds, moss spores and so on.

The air analyser suggested not to breathe this air directly unless there was no other choice. If a human breathed in this air for more than 30 seconds, it could easily lead to various complications. But of course, 11% of oxygen content was high enough for Sheyan.

The passengers of the spacecraft came down one after another and instantly went to work. The maintenance SCVs could not repair the exterior of the ship in space, so now was the best time to do so. The engineering SCV started using their own instruments to search for minerals. This planet had undergone large-scale mining before, but under an operation of a massive scale like that, there were bound to be some lower concentration mineral veins that were overlooked, like the wasted corners of a farm in automated farming.

For these engineering SCVs, as long as they could collect enough energy crystals, they could build a whole transport fleet.

Kyrgyzna was busy debugging the encrypted bands and detecting whether there was an undiscovered human vault nearby. After a while, she suddenly cried out in surprise and said to Sheyan, “Brigadier General Seaman! I received an encrypted message asking us to assemble at a certain spot!”

“Read it out,” ordered Sheyan.

After a short pause, Kyrgyzna read, “To all units. The moment you receive this message, assemble at coordinates N49, P59 at once. GHOST.”

The final word, GHOST, was in red. Sheyan looked towards Old Charlie. Old Charlie was a servant, so it would not appear strange for him to ask. Kyrgyzstan was a pretty straightforward person. She immediately explained to him.

The Ghosts were the most unique and mysterious units among the Terrans. They were strong enough to decide the victory or defeat of a battle.

The Ghosts represented the apex of the Terran race’s evolution and peak physical abilities. They were born with incredible psionic potential. They were recruited from an early age and trained by the government. They could guide their psionic abilities and use it to enhance their physical strength and endurance.

This process was strengthened by the special suit they wore that was made of psi-sensitive artificial muscle fibers. Any common Ghost was stronger, more capable and faster than a well-trained Terran.

They could cloak themselves and become invisible by continuously consuming MP. The 25mm C-10 canister rifle they were equipped with had nearly the same range as a sniper rifle. More terrifying was that they were able to compete against powerful mechanical units with pure physical force. That was because they had a powerful lockdown gun which could fire super-energy lockdown shots that would encase the enemy in a powerful electromagnetic barrier, thus disabling the enemy and “locking it down”. The enemy would become a lamb awaiting slaughter after that.

Of course, the most powerful ability of a Ghost was their cloaking capability. They could use this ability to quietly move to the enemy’s vicinity and activate an aiming device. A short while after, a powerful nuclear bomb would come whirring down. This was the terrifying attacking method which brought fear into the enemy’s heart.

Therefore, Ghosts were often highly ranked in the human (Terran) army. If a Ghost had a red name, it showed that they were one of the legendary Spectres, powerful elite Ghosts that had experienced dozens, maybe even hundreds, of brutal wars and survived. Their influence was no less than ordinary Major Generals. Of course, a perverse monster like Sheyan who had +2 Legend Level was another matter.

Sheyan suddenly sensed something. He turned around and saw a maintenance SCV repairing the exterior of the ship with a welding torch. A large amount of sparks rained down from the steel like a waterfall. They fell on the ground and formed words.

These sparks did not attract any attention. When the words had concluded, the SCV moved away of his own accord. Obviously, he himself did not realise that he had been chosen by Noah Realm C to perform such a “miracle”.

There was no doubt that under the circumstances, for the sake of speed, Sheyan could only go to the location indicated by the red Ghost in the radio signal. Of course, this may be a huge trap set up by the enemy after they managed to break the communication encryption of the humans, but Sheyan was pressed for time. He could only go to the designated spot without hesitation.

After walking more than 20 kilometers, Sheyan suddenly found a depression in front of him. The pit was smooth and regular, and it extended all the way to the hills ahead. There was some faint blue liquid at the side. After crossing the hills, Sheyan’s vision suddenly opened up. An unforgettable sight appeared in front of him!
