Vampire Overlord System in the Apocalypse

Chapter 109 - Off-Camera Grind And...

-----

Meanwhile, within the depths of the night, a group of crimson, human-shaped beings walked above the buildings of the city, being covered by shadows made by their leader, Brain.

The moment Noah was done with the teacher, he sent Brain and all of his other Blood Servants towards a Dungeon, while also carrying a Dimensional Storage Ring that carried the robots, which were not only Sakura, Sugar, and Big Sis, but also most of the repaired ones, which were given Blood Core Batteries and developed new powers.

As they were about to enter the Dungeon, they meet with Clementina, who was sent towards them by Noah.

Due to not being humans, they were able to ignore any requirements within Hunters, such as not being able to enter lower-ranked dungeons because they could destroy them, and more.

Clementina then used her Hunter Pass to walk inside an E-Rank Dungeon with ease, while saving the Blood Servants inside her blood through their special ability…

"We are here…" she said, as she began to walk through the large cave, as giant bats began to emerge everywhere… she started to produce ice and released all the Blood Servants alongside the robots, and a massacre began to unfold… Clementina, as Noah ordered her, would be here for the rest of the night grinding Cores not only for her but for future members as well, as many as she possibly could!

And as these events were being unfolded, a group of military men glanced at the records of a camera set in the room where the teacher was with Clementina, and about the arrival of Noah…

Although they believed that something weird happened… they could not see anything.

"Clementina\'s body is blocking Noah\'s body… we can\'t see him clearly…"

"What happened? They went blank for like a few seconds…"

"This is… pretty fishy. But we can\'t do anything at all about this…"

"Without concrete evidence…"

"Well, the teacher was fine, there wasn\'t anything wrong with him at all, even when he went through several magic detection devices…"

"Indeed, I guess it was nothing then?"

"You are right, I guess it was really nothing…"

The soldiers closed the TVs, as they quickly went back to slack off as they always did, unaware of the true dangers that lurked below their very noses…

Having sent Clementina to grind for Cores with his Blood Servants and the Robots, Noah and his party decided to pack several things and then get moving to their next Dungeon, a C-Rank Dungeon!

Unlike F-Rank, E-Rank, or D-Rank Dungeons, C-Rank Dungeon and above were very rare within the city, and C-Rank in specific were only within the outskirts of the city, not even in the poverty areas there were C-Rank Dungeons, as they were cataloged as too dangerous to have in front of the city or their citizens.

However, Noah and the rest had already found their target, and because it was night, Hunters going to Dungeons at these hours decreased a lot, allowing them to enter a Dungeon and have it for themselves once more.

The Vampire group ran over the buildings while wearing dark clothes and masks, their crimson eyes glowed with eeriness and thirst for strength, to achieve new horizons!

Reaching their destination after an hour of traveling around in the dark of the night, the party glanced at the wasteland outside, and at the several stadium-like constructions made around these gates.

"Here we are… these dungeons are outside of the city…" said Arthur.

"I wonder if B-Rank Dungeons… how hard will they be to get in? I think there were some around the city too, but far away from her already," said Iris.

"Indeed. At that point we will only be able to enter by having Guild Cards, no ordinary person is a B-rank hunter, to begin with. And they do not let enter guild-less hunters into dungeons of B-Rank or above. Even if we tried to infiltrate, it would be useless, as we would be caught and even if we escaped, the government would send B-Rank or above Hunters after us," said Noah.

"Oof, so even if we grow as strong as B-Rank hunters… Guilds are always essentials in this society…" sighed Arthur.

"Of course, why did you think I planned everything to this point so we could easily have everything ready to become a Guild? It was all base din these things and the consequences they would bring if we didn\'t do them properly," said Noah.

Noah was not someone stupid who believed that doing everything alone like an edgy and immature kid would bring him to success, he knew that in this society he needed to plan, scheme, and cunningly do things according to the rules that were here.

Societies were filled with rules, and although they could be broken through exceptions, even exceptions themselves had rules they could not break.

Even more, if breaking them would end up making them be persecuted by strong hunters that could literally end their lives.

Indeed, it was not that Noah was any genius, he just did not rush things, even if it seemed like he was indeed rushing things.

And even more, he understood that doing things as a group was more beneficial in literally every single aspect.

After all, he did not have an almighty system that gave him keys to dungeon or something, he only had the system that everyone had, and his powers, although amazing, were also locked around his Blood Core, and he needed to obey rules and regulations to slowly raise his strength within this society.

But even then, he was more than ready to break them when it was necessary… or when he finally had the option or power to do so.

As long as he kept increasing his Rank to higher Grades, he could slowly be capable of ignoring more and more rules.

And he knew very well that S-Rank Hunters could completely ignore most rules in societies, and even manipulate the government based solely on their strength that could both save thousands of people… or annihilate thousands of people…

But even then, even if Noah were to once achieve such heights, he was not stopping there!

He was about to reach even higher ones, SS-Rank, SSS-Rank… and even beyond that!

He believed that at that point, he would be able to figure a way to travel to Abyss through the unlocked powers dwelling within the Blood Core, which shaped themselves depending on his necessities.

It was already shown through the Blood Servants, something that the Blood Progenitor didn\'t even have originally, that the original powers of the Blood Core were modifying themselves to suit his needs as he evolved and improved his own strength.

He was dead-set in dominating this world and making it his domain, and then also dominate Abyss, and beyond that!

He had heard from the blood progenitor that through cultivation, Vampires could even become Vampire Gods!

What couldn\'t a Vampire God do?

If they were considered Gods, they should clearly be able to surpass even mortals in what they could do!

And he was sure that many dangers were lurking around… and that the grand scheme of things was not as narrow as it seemed for now, that there might be greater things for him to discover that the Blood Progenitor was keeping hidden from his current knowledge…

Noah\'s party walked down into the wastelands, as they decided to enter the empty Dungeon after dealing with guards by easily hypnotizing them into accepting their demands.

A dungeon in the middle of the wastelands, despite common sense, was very badly guarded down, and due to the darkness of the time of the night, the cameras could not even notice that Noah used his eyes to hypnotize and stupefy the soldiers to do his bidding.

It was even better than the soldiers were merely D-Rank, so he was able to easily suppress them, even without Brain at his side who was currently grinding Attribute Value Cores with Clementina.

Arthur and the rest felt surprised after what Noah did with so much swiftness and easiness.

"I guess we can do that now…" he sighed.

"Rules and regulations were also made to be broken, having masks also helps," said Arthur.

"Wouldn\'t we get caught after this, the cameras registered us, right?" asked Timassa.

"No, I have left Blood Pacts and Curses into the soldiers, they won\'t speak a word… If they don\'t want to explode into pieces as their blood becomes million of tiny nails…" said Noah

"That\'s terrifying… Well, if we gather enough money, we can do these reservations legally next time…" said Arthur.

"I suppose," said Noah, as everyone entered the Dungeon…
