While China and America’s naval fleets were clashing, Jiang Fei and his fellow merry friends were about to have a face-off with the Mutants.

In the beginning, as the group of martial artists was frantically running toward a certain direction, the Scarlet Hunters had misunderstood their intentions as they were running toward them. Since Lincoln had told them to remain in the shadows, the group of Scarlet Hunter fell back as far as they could to regroup with the main Mutant army. At a certain point, they made a sharp turn, away from the martial artists and unintentionally discovered the truth.

Lincoln’s order was clear; do not engage the martial artists and regroup with the main group. Blood Baron was constantly backing his way until he made a sudden turn. It was then he realized something was wrong.

“Something’s up. They are not heading toward us! They’re just heading in a straight line!” said Baron Blood.

“Where are they going?” Lincoln responded after Baron Blood reported. Panicked, he started to think critically about the situation. He understood that the enemy was not guarding the alien artifact any longer. Even so, that did not explain their sudden movement across Japan.

“Bring up the map!” Lincoln barked. A Mutant that was close to him pulled out a small device and loaded up the map.

“They were here an hour ago… and now they are here… if they are really running in a straight line, they should be heading… to the beach?!” Lincoln cried.

“Sir, the Chinese military is coming in with everything they’ve got. I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence but… what if the martial artists heading over there had something to do with that? It’s either they are trying to leave or welcome reinforcements!”

“I don’t care what the reason is. We need to stop whatever they are trying to pull!” Lincoln snapped.

“Yes, sir!”

Although it was at the spur of the moment, the order was given and everyone got into their formation and ran as fast as they could to join the Scarlet Hunters.

“Captain, I have detected the main group of Mutants. They are coming toward us,” said 0541.

Jiang Fei cringed. He was extremely reluctant to do anything about it. These martial artists had let him down for the last time and he was not going to help them anymore. However, if he did not do anything, they would be overwhelmed by the mass of Mutants. Only through cooperating with each other would they survive this final push.

“The Mutant army is coming for us!” Jiang Fei stopped and shouted.

Bai Wanli was the first person to stop.

“Oh no…”

“Dammit! I’m running back home and they won’t let me go?”

“F*ck them! No one is stopping me from returning home! If it’s a fight they want, it’s a fight they will get!”

“That’s right! They’ve done it now! They’ve pushed us too far now! It is time for us to push back!”

Everyone started off low but came back quickly and violently. Jiang Fei was greatly taken aback when he saw just how motivated everyone was. With death chasing them from behind and the thought of salvation just ahead, these martial artists had their morale instantly restored!

“Wait, what? We’re going with that? Heh!” Jiang Fei scoffed at the martial artists’ responses. He had gone through thick and thin just to motivate these f*ckers! Never did he expect that all that they needed was a real threat to their lives to motivate them back to their feet.

“This might actually work!” Jiang Fei said to himself. Even though the sudden burst of morale that originated from the desperation to survive was strong, it would not last long. Then again, that sudden burst of morale was what Jiang Fei had been waiting for. He would need to maintain it if he wanted to defeat the Mutants.

“ARGH! F*ck the Americans and the Mutants! We just want to go back and if they want to stop us, we will give them hell!” Jiang Fei joined the fray and shouted. Jiang Fei had decided to fan the flame and join everyone by letting out their pent-up frustration.

“That’s right! We’ll f*ck them up real good!”

“I don’t care what it takes! I’m going back home!”

“If they want to f*ck with us, we’ll give them a good f*ck instead!”

Jiang Fei’s outburst worked well since everyone was already maddened with rage. When even the calm and powerful Jiang Fei was throwing out insults without restrain, everyone else felt it and the situation just exploded into a mass of insults. In a way, it was not a bad way to boost the group’s morale.

“What’s the situation?” Lincoln asked when the Scarlet Hunters finally regrouped. They were supposed to be battered and beaten down yet all their screaming said otherwise.

“What are the Chinese freaks doing now?”

“No idea. We best take precautions. The yellow freaks are extremely cunning.”

“We cannot underestimate them. They had several thousand years of war experience and the genius Sun Tzi even made the Art of War for them! We ought to be careful with those sneaky bastards!”

Lincoln frowned worriedly. All the other high-ranking officers of the Mutant army were whispering to one another. Although they were only advising each other to be careful, it stemmed from the fear of the martial artists. Lincoln could not help but feel a little afraid of them since they were the only force in the world that had dared to challenge America!

“Eye’s peeled. Stay frosty. Blood Baron, take your men and hold the front. Cut off their escape route. Shroder, you and your men stay behind and set up an ambush. When the time is right, you must strike hard and fast. The rest of you stick with me. We will lead the main party to crush them!” Lincoln gave out orders, left and right, to his subordinates. Even though he clearly had the bigger attacking force, it was still wise to form attack formations to properly destroy the martial artists through and through.

“Yes, sir!” Both Baron Blood and Shroder replied with a salute before leaving the main group with their men.

Shroder was not happy with the entire war with the Chinese since he had always had a good relationship with the martial artists. However, the war was between two nations which inevitably involved the Mutants and the martial artists. There was nothing he could do.

Once everyone was prepared, Lincoln took the lead and charged toward the group of martial artists with great fervor.

“Heh, these Mutants are quite persistent!” Jiang Fei scoffed. Lincoln could never hide from 0541’s superior proximity sensor. Before they could even split up into three separate groups, Jiang Fei had already understood what they were doing. Lincoln’s plan might be solid and well-planned but Jiang Fei had understood his every move, which gave Jiang Fei a good opportunity to make a counterattack!

If Lincoln had not split his forces and waited until the entire group of martial artists arrived at the beach, Lincoln could have struck hard and fast and defeated all of them in one fell swoop. Unless Ariel interfered, not even Jiang Fei could fend them off.

Instead, due to insufficient intelligence of both sides, Lincoln had decided to go with his current plan since it was the most suitable for the current situation to him. Splitting into three forces had given Jiang Fei a good opportunity to strike.

“Having eyes on everything is like having map-hacking software in gaming!” Jiang Fei laughed it off. To be honest, besides having Ariel to teleport everyone excluding the martial artists, there was nothing else that Jiang Fei could do to save himself.
